SORRY but I just have time to post a cartoon from a while ago that caught my funny bone, it’s from Speed Bump which I try to see every day. For those who have gone through this it should be funny. For any one with a teenager, still at home, it might be more of a helpful guide.

Mp3 Share Jann Arden
“California Dreaming”

or you can try here too!

Jann Arden has just release a new album called “Free”. It’s great as if I could think otherwise. I thought it was time to revisit her last album called “UnCover Me” and chose “California Dreaming” to share with you today. It is a great version and apt for this time of year.

The 2007 disc kicks off with “Bring the Boys Home” (originally a 1971 anti-Vietnam war song) that is especially moving with its refrain, “bring ‘em back alive.” The ’70s hit “Peace Train” by Yusuf Islam (a.k.a. Cat Stevens) also delivers another powerful message in a gentle melody. True to Arden’s musical nature, there are a handful of melancholic tracks, including the aptly wistful version of Janis Ian’s “At Seventeen” and a moving, traditional take on the Carpenters’ “Solitaire.” The disc’s one original, “Counterfeit Heart” is a definite standout.
Hope you enjoy my share. If you do enjoy it you may want to check out the wiki page.

Mp3 Share The Beatles
“There’s A Place”

or you can try here too!

I just couldn’t get back into things quite yet. I have been trying to catch up, reading mail, paying bills, and all the usual stuff. I thought the time away would see me return with a new zest for life. Instead I find myself just getting by. So I just reached into my pile and pulled out an old album from The Beatles. It was “Please Please Me”. I looked at it and decided to share this weeks tune “There’s A Place”. Maybe it will bring back some memories for you.

Friday Fun.

October 23rd, 2009 by schrysler

The computer swallowed grandma
Yes, Honestly its true!
She pressed ‘ctrl’ and ‘enter’
And disappeared from view.

It devoured her completely,
The thought just made me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.

I’ve searched through the recycle bin
And files of every kind;
I’ve even used the internet
But nothing did I find.

In desperation, I asked Google
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found ‘online’.

So, if inside your ‘Inbox’,
My Grandma you should see,
Please ‘Copy’,'Scan’ and ‘Paste’ her
And send her back to me.

SORRY…………..but I won’t be posting for a while. I’ll be far away from any reliable computer and there is no way I can promise to do regular posts. I’ll be back mid-October and hopefully full of energy to resume normal operations. See you then.
As a farewell here’s a cartoon from a while ago that caught my funny bones, it’s from Speed Bump which I try to see every day. For any one addicted to the net out there I’m sure you will find this funny. Am I right?
